The language of art is a language humans use even before they can express themselves in words, speech and writing. Visual expression through material, paint, shape and color allows creating images, present thoughts, and feelings, conscious and unconscious ideas in a spontaneous manner without speaking them in words.
The use of the language of art, as well as the encounter with it and its products, are a key to the expansion of one’s personal world a tool for developing creative thinking, widening of horizons and empowerment.
In my eyes, the encounter with this language is a necessary encounter to development both in the conscious, logical, intellectual dimension, and the emotional, personal, experiencing dimension. Art is a tool, which combines mind and spirit, practical learning and spiritual experience, it is a way to meet the external world and bring it together with the internal world.
During my years as an artist, I used my art also as a level for learning and education. I developed and wrote study programs, taught them in practice, lectured in various institutions of education and higher learning, led unique courses in various topics on the subject of art, led projects jointly with schools and educational institutions, and established study centers (see sub-category Projects in Art and Education).
I developed a unique study course in the West Galilee College in the Art in the Community sphere (see subcategory Art and Community) through which I ran projects in Israel and abroad in the framework of Partnership 2000 of the Jewish Agency.
I specialized in the subject of education in museums, during museology studies in the University of Haifa, and developed unique study plans and study kits called Museumkit' (Museonit – in Hebrew). These kits provide a variety of activities as a way of study and developing of creative thought, through a deep, unique, fascinating encounter with artistic contents and their application (see subcategory – 'Museumkit')
On this site, you can follow unique study programs through photographs presented in the gallery under the category of Projects in Art and Education, video clips, and demonstrations of the 'Museumkit' which can also be ordered and purchased.
