During many years of artistic work, I divided my work between intimate work in the studio and projects in which I acted as a part of a group in environmental and community enterprises. These projects were for social or cultural purposes, and were executed with the participation of institutions, or a community, or a group of student and/or artists.
In these projects I participated in various roles, either as an active artist, or as a curator, or as an initiator, director and planner all according to the project and my position at the time. One of the unique areas I have developed and headed was the art in the community project, which I ran as head of the interdisciplinary art studies center in the West Galilee College together with a team of professors and students, and in cooperation with various institutions in Western Galilee. These projects were directed and took place in Israel and abroad.
The projects in which I participated as an artist were wall painting, artists’ fairs, theatre stage settings, cultural events ((Holiday of Holidays festival, Rock Symposium in the Galilee, Renaissance Fair). The projects of art in the community were executed with the help of institutions of education, welfare, industry and culture (see details in the subcategories).
